Mmmmm, Blueberry. Lemon. Meringue. Sounds like quite a complex flavor profile. But really, it's all about them lemons. I threw in the blueberries because 1) they were in my fridge, the huge Costco pack I mean, and 2) the dainty fruit is just so darn cute on a tart. In terms of the taste, the blueberries enhance the lemon, rather than adding complexity. So it's still a tarty lemony dessert... just a tad cuter.
I had so many ideas on what to write on here for my VERY FIRST blog post (!), but setting this all up took me foreverrr (I'm such a newb.) So I'll just stick to the recipe below... ummm and a few more pictures of dessert porn.
